Care during Covid-19

During Covid-19, care will be continued, however the guidelines of the RIVM are closely followed. Psychologist to go follows these guidelines strictly in order to minimize the risk for everyone. What can you expect?

If you do not suffer from complaints

Face-to-face consultations are still possible with social distancing of 1.5 metres. Think of a walking consultation in the park, a consultation in a quiet cafe, at a specific location, or in my office.

If you do suffer from complaints

If you suffer from a cold, a runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, cough, stuffiness, slight temperature and/or fever, then consultations are only available via video calls. In this way we avoid added risk and your care can be continued as usual. A consultation via video calling can be done via Microsoft Teams (most secure), Lifesize, Skype or WhatsApp. My experience with video calling is a positive one. It should not affect the quality of the consultation. Online therapy has also been proven to produce similar results as face-to-face therapy.

If it doesn’t feel right for you

If it does not feel right for you to continue the scheduled consultation, you can opt for cancelling or rescheduling the consultation at any time free of charge. Please note that you have to contact me as soon as possible (at least 24 hours in advance).
